The Company
The Evolution Dance Theater is an innovative and exciting fusion of dance, art, acrobatics, magic and illusion.
In the last few years it presents shows that have fascinated and hypnotized the public throughout Italy and beyond.
The company has toured also with great success in countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Israel, Greece, Hong Kong,
Macao, China, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and many others.
The company in 2019 celebrates its 10 years of activity counting well over 600 shows and over 400,000 spectators.
FIREFLY, ELECTRICITY, BLACK & LIGHT, NIGHT GARDEN are part of the company's repertoire.
eVolution dance theater has collaborated with the ballet company MAGGIO DANZA in Florence, creating for them the first version of FIREFLY.
In addition, the company has created the show THE MAGIC OF LIGHT on commission for WALT DISNEY CRUISE LINES.
Founded by the American artist, Anthony Heinl, based in Rome Italy, Evolution Dance Theater is dedicated to creating
new and innovative techniques for the stage, using an exciting mix of science and art to create a unique experience.

anthony heinl graduated from the Boston Conservatory Dance Department.
He received the Jan Veen award for excellence in May 2001. He was awarded scholarships at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and the Paul Taylor School.
He has performed the choreography of Paul Taylor, Jose Limon, Angelin Preljocaj, David Parsons, Lachine, Daniel Ezralow, and Peter Anastos.
In 2001 Anthony joined Momix, He performed in Lunar Sea, Sun-Flower-Moon, Opus Cactus, Momix in Orbit, Best of Momix, Momix Classics and SuperMomix in over 1500 shows worldwide in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Canada, Chile, Dubai, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Macau, New Zealand, Spain, Singapore and the United States.
He participated closely in the artistic creative process of the company throughout his five years there.
In 2006, he moved to Italy, where he collaborated with Emiliano Pelissari and Gianni Melis of Momix, working as a dancer, and choreographer in the creation of the new show Comix.
In 2007 he worked on the creation of and performed in Daniel Ezralow’s show «Why?», touring Italy, and in 2008 founded AH! Dance Theater Illusion, which later became eVolution Dance Theater.
In 2009 he was commisioned to create FireFly, a new production for Maggio Danza, The National ballet company in Florence, performed at the Teatro Comunale di Firenze 16,17,18 June 2009.
After this great success, he and Nadessja Casavecchia officially founded the company eVolution dance theater.
They created successful shows like FIRFELY, ELECTRICITY, BLACK & LIGHT, NIGHT GARDEN, THE MAGIC OF LIGHT.

She trained first at the Drammatic art School "Paolo Grassi" in Milan, then at the "Rotterdam Dance Academy."She has worked in various choreographic projects including:
"Millimeters" of S.Antonino presented at the "Biennale Venezia2005."
"In-ten-sive" of K.Ossola, former NDT dancer, presented at the "Holland Dance Festival 2005".
"Aller Ziele" of E.Wubbe, artistic director of the Scapino Ballet.
"Fall Furiouse" of S.Shopshire.
She then danced in the Austrian company "X.Ida" of Linz_Austria.
She created for the Dutch scenery "SilentWords", while in Italy she presents the interactive multimedia performance "B-light", winner of "Milano in Digitale".
In 2008 she joined the eVolution dance theater by Anthony Heinl, covering the roles of associate director, assistant and dancer.

She began her career in 2006 by participating in the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Turin with the Kataklo company.
Subsequently she moved to Rome where she began working for the Sistine theater in "Il miracolo marcellino" directed by Gino Landi and
Riccardo Trucchi.
In 2010 she joined the cast of "Jesus Christ Superstar" by Massimo Romeo Piparo, then she performed in the show "Rinaldo in Campo"
by Garinei and Giovannini then in "The Full Monty" with the choreography of Bill Goodson.
In 2014 she has been part again in the show "Jesus Christ Superstar" alongside Ted Neeley, Yvonne Elliman and Barry Dennen, taking
part in the European tour.
In 2017 she enters eVolution dance theater dancing in NIGHT GARDEN, THE MAGIC OF LIGHT, BLACK & LIGHT productions with
national and international tours in countries such as Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, China.Matteo Crisafulli , acrobata / danzatore
Begins at the age of 5 with artistic gymnastics, later discovering love for acrobatics.
He performed his first time on stage in 2015 at 21 years old with the show by Enrico Brignano - Evolushow 2.0.
In 2016 he worked in the show Divo Nerone directed by Gino Landi and choreographed
by Marco Sellati and on the set with Diego Abatantuono.
In 2017 he joined the Evolution dance theater company of Anthony Heinl and Nadessja Casavecchia
dancing in the show NIGHT GARDEN, BLACK & LIGHT, THE MAGIC OF LIGHT with national and international tours
in countries such as Germany, China, Switzerland and Brazil.Giulia Pino, dancer
She trained and studied dance at the Diana Florindi OPIFICIO and at the Kledi dance academy.
From 10 to 13 years she studied artistic gymnastics. Participation in various events.
She partecipated in the videoclip of the song 'love me forever by Elisa, at the Roma è moda event with Dominga Giardullo and at the AltaModa AltaRoma fashion shows at Palazzo Rospigliosi in 2016.
In 2019 she obtained her degree in Dams (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performing Arts) and joined the company Evolution Dance Theater with national and international tours in countries such as Brazil and Germany.
